King’s House School
Established in 1946, we are a thriving prep school and specialists in educating boys.
We just wanted to say how incredibly grateful we are to you and all the staff for creating such a wonderful and safe learning environment for Beatrice and her peers.
We can't begin to imagine the logistical nightmare it must be to create this sanitised/safe space, nor can we begin to imagine the personal anxiety the staff must feel coming to nursery every day at this, the height of the Covid pandemic. We are truly thankful and in awe of your and their commitment, resilience, bravery and above all, dedication to the little ones.
We still often talk about how friendly, passionate and professional you and your staff at Kings House Nursery are! I really feel lucky she could have her early education with you!
Thank you both SO much for all you have done to nurture our daughter. The kindness and reassurance you have consistently shown us will not be forgotten.
It is a warm and friendly nursery with staff who genuinely have an interest in your children and making sure your child has a positive first experience with school. I am confident that the mix of structured and imaginative learning will prepare my child for the next step.
Visit the school, and see for yourself. The school has a great feeling when you first visit, and the senior boys are so polite and positive. It’s a great school for boys that works hard to develop the boys in all areas.
Excellent school that prepares boys well for senior schools. Delivers outstanding results despite not being hyper selective and suits a range of personalities. Strong sport. Pastoral care and engagement with parents is spot on.
I have the highest regard for the school and have been extremely pleased with it. I would recommend it to anyone.
It is an amazing school which my son is looking forward to going to every morning and even sad at the weekend that he can’t go to school. For a 5 year old, that shows a lot.
KHS has a friendly and warm environment in which the boys grow academically and mentally. It has a strong sporting mentality. Great school! They really know how to look after the boys properly!
They understand boys, and how to educate boys. They seem to be able to get it right for each individual child. Staff are passionate about their subjects and this is infectious as boys learn with enthusiasm. A wonderful school and a brilliant start to a life-long education. Cannot recommend more highly.
Last Friday afternoon in the sunshine Year 3 travelled over to Shrewsbury House for an away game in which six teams put on an excellent display of determination and skill. Their work-rate was impressive and with such positive attitudes, I know we are going to see...
Huge congratulations to King's House alumni Louis Lynagh, who has been named to England Rugby's 45-player squad for their upcoming training camp. Lynagh is one of eight uncapped players named to the training squad, and plays for Harlequins. Louis' brother also...
One year ago the boys in the Cross Country club competed against the clock in a 1km time-trial around Richmond Park. Since then they have shown a clear desire to improve as many of them have eagerly asked when they can run the course again either to better their...
King's House recently enjoyed our first Band Skills Afternoon with boys from Years 4, 5 and 6 taking part. Boys in Year 4 worked on a rendition of ‘We Will Rock You’ and the older boys learnt to play ‘Seven Nation Army’. It was great fun and wonderful to see lots...
We are so proud of the Reception boys, who have taken the first few days of school in their stride and settled beautifully into their new routines. They enjoyed exploring the playground and meeting all their new teachers, and it was fantastic to see how well they...
On a sunny Tuesday morning this week the Year 4s came to the playground to meet their Year 8 buddies. A small group of boys from Year 4 were paired with a group of boys from Year 8 in the same House. The Year 8s look out for their buddies in the playground and...
