Bursaries
The Governors of King’s House School are committed to broadening access to the School by offering eligible parents/guardians means-tested financial support with the payment of school fees through bursaries.
These bursaries may be awarded in the form of a discount of up to 100% on tuition fees payable, depending on the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants.
Bursary awards are available to all parents/guardians of children entering any year group from Year 3 up to Year 6. They can also be awarded to relieve hardship where a pupil’s education and future prospects would otherwise be at risk (for example in the case of redundancy).
Bursary Application Process
King’s House employs the services of Bursary Administration Limited (BAL) to prepare the information which is used to assist in the decision-making process.
BAL arrange a home visit to talk through the financial circumstances form and discuss the application. These visits are undertaken at the applicant’s home in a sensitive manner and all information is treated in the strictest confidence. The application and BAL feedback will be submitted to the Bursary Committee at KHS, where a decision will be made about the value of the bursary that may be awarded.
