Wraparound Care
Junior and Senior Department
Since September 2024, we have partnered with Après-School to provide after school care for the children in our Junior and Senior Departments at King’s House. Après-School are an Ofsted-registered specialist wraparound care provider and have many years’ experience creating a safe and nurturing environment for children beyond the school day.
Activities are planned for children of all ages, including arts & crafts, sport and outdoor play, construction, and board games. The staff ratio is 1:10 for children of school age. Children will all be provided with healthy snacks, often including fresh fruit, sandwiches, and raisins.
Sessions for after-school care with Après-School are bookable in advance via their website here. As an Ofsted-registered provider, they will be able to accept Childcare Vouchers and participate in the Tax-Free Childcare scheme. Payment can be made in monthly instalments or in bulk. A 10% sibling discount is offered when both siblings are booked on the same session.
Après-School was founded by Luke Currie, a former Assistant Headteacher and Safeguarding Lead at a London prep school. For general inquiries or to discuss program specifics, Mr Currie is available at .
Early Birds in the Junior and Senior Department and SD Homework Club continue to be provided by the school and are bookable via My School Portal on an ad hoc basis. Junior and Senior Department pupils can also attend a wide range of before and after school clubs, which can be viewed here, along with internally provided lunch & break time clubs.
Nursery Department
Our Nursery Department offers many options for extended wraparound and holiday care for all nursery children run on-site by our lovely Nursery staff. All children can join early birds from 8am, and stay after school for an extended day until 5:30pm. Holiday care options are also available during the half-term breaks, as well as for 5 additional weeks over the year including over Christmas, Easter and the summer break.
Extended wraparound and holiday care options can be booked in as set termly options (below), but is also available ad-hoc at your convenience, based on availability.

Holiday Camps
Apres-School also provide holiday camps during the school holidays for children in the Junior and Senior Departments. We also have a range of external clubs with run at school and at the Sports Ground which King's House and other children are welcome to join.
School Holiday provision is run in-house for the Nursery children including all half term breaks and 5 additional weeks over the school holidays.
