Our Move to Co-education
We’re delighted to be accelerating the transition to co-ed, welcoming girls into all year groups from the Nursery to Year 5, and Year 7, in September 2025!
Girls joined Reception and Year 1 for the first time in September 2024, building on the success of our already co-ed Nursery. Excellent pastoral care and a nurturing environment are at the heart of our school community, and we are delighted that more girls will be able to benefit from this.
Find out more about a taster and assessment morning on Tuesday 4th February for applications to Year 1-5.

Welcome from the Head
At King’s House we take pride in offering each child a high-quality, broad academic and co-curricular education, allowing children to develop the skills and mental resilience needed to succeed in their next steps in life. Established in 1946, KHS fosters a lifelong love of learning in a caring and supportive environment, where children feel secure and able to flourish.
Pupils have the opportunity to take part and develop in all areas of school life, so that the needs of each individual are truly catered for: from Year 1 they benefit from the first-class facilities at our 35-acre Sports Ground in Chiswick. King’s House is independent of any senior school, and proud of the wide range of day and boarding schools that our pupils go on to at 13, with many achieving scholarships.
We are delighted to be transitioning to co-education, with the first girls joining Reception and Year 1 in September 2024. I hope you will take the time to learn more about us, and we look forward to meeting you soon.
