Extended Management Team
The school has operated successfully with a similar management and leadership structure for a number of years now, but the move to coeducation meant that it felt the right time to review and refresh how the school is led and run. We have maintained a Senior Leadership Team, which will focus on longer term strategy and key safeguarding and staffing issues, but have now introduced an Extended Management Team to support the running of the school across a range of key pastoral and academic areas.
Our Extended Management Team will be made up of our existing SMT, a Pastoral and Academic Team, as well Bursary Team Appointments to work collaboratively on key areas across the school.
Pastoral Team
The Pastoral Team will be led by Mr Alex Churcher our Head of Pastoral Care, supported by Mrs Jane O’Brien, our Head of Nursery.
Ms Cheryl Wood
Cheryl joined our Junior Department in September 2025 having taught for a number of years at Hampton Hill Junior School, where as well as being a teacher she was a Borough Lead on PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education).
Cheryl is now the school’s lead on PSHE and Pupil Welfare, and has been overseeing the introduction of the new PSHE scheme, Jigsaw.
Mrs Georgie Richards
Georgie joined us in September 2022 as our Head of Mathematics, and the following year was made Head of Year 6.
Georgie has been heavily involved in reviewing the Maths curriculum and also in preparing children for senior school entrance and scholarship exams. She has now taken on the role of Pastoral Lead on Attendance and Trips & Outings.
Mrs Amanda Doliveux
Amanda has been at the school since 2003 and became Deputy Head of the Junior Department 12 years ago. She is a highly regarded teacher and brings her experience of supporting children in the Junior Department and their families to the Pastoral team.
Academic Team
The Academic Team will be led by Mr Martin Shore, the Deputy Head, supported by Mr Simon Gower, the Head of the Junior Department.
Mrs Stephanie Taylor
Stephanie joined us in September 2025 as a Nursery teacher, having taught for over 20 years in Early Years’ settings. Stephanie is taking on the role as Academic Lead for the Nursery and Junior Departments, looking at academic tracking, transition and lesson delivery.
Miss Lucy Jones
Lucy has been at the school since 2017. Initially working in the Junior Department as a Year 3 teacher and Maths coordinator, she moved to the Senior Department as a Year 4 form teacher and English teacher to Key Stage 2 in 2021 before taking on the role of Head of English in 2023. She has now taken on the role of Academic Lead for the Senior Department, looking at academic tracking and curriculum.
Mrs Rebecca Lane
Rebecca joined the school in 2021 as our Head of Learning Development and our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo). She has helped to provide advice and support to children, families and staff. With the school being mixed-ability and focused on its community ethos, we have children with a range of learning needs, and how this is managed and integrated into our teaching and learning supportive to all children is extremely important.
Other Members
The Senior Management Team is made up of the Head, Mark Turner, the Bursar, John Loveland, the Deputy-Head, Martin Shore, the Head of the Junior Department, Simon Gower, the Head of the Nursery, Jane O’Brien and the Head of Pastoral Care, Alex Churcher.
Alongside the Senior Management Team and the Pastoral and Academic Teams, a few appointments have been made within the Bursary team to join the Extended Management Team to allow further collaboration on the key areas of focus across the school including the Estates Manager, Miss Fiona Brown, the Human Resources Manager, Miss Georgie Towersey-Veal and the Marketing and Communications Manager, Miss Ashleigh Thompson.
