Year 7 at King’s House recently enjoyed a trip to the Surrey Hills to investigate the impact of tourism at Box Hill.
After a rainy journey, the boys and staff donned full waterproofs and prepared for a soggy day. However, the geography gods showed good favour with the clouds parting and the boys were left to enjoy a clear day in beautiful surroundings.
Year 7 deserve real praise for the way they approached the trip and for throwing themselves into the geography field work. One member of staff was even heard remarking that ‘some of these boys are as good as our A level groups!’. Well done Year 7!
