This week, year 4 have been whittling their very own Harry Potter inspired wands in DT and Art lessons. They were working with modelling foam and had to handle their materials really carefully to make sure that their wand did not snap as they got thinner and thinner! They all created a unique design for their own wands and painted them different colours, even embellishing some with gems! Some boys created a carrying display case to protect their wands. They are all ready for Harry Potter themed activities in the library next week!
