Traditional Tales in Butterflies

The topic in Butterfly Class this week is Traditional Tales, and we had an unexpected visitor! We arrived on Monday morning to find porridge oats all over the carpet and the chairs tipped over! Fortunately, we have some very good detectives in Butterflies, who asked questions, took detailed notes, took photographic evidence on the iPads and deduced we had been visited by Goldilocks.

This week the children also made some wonderful Gingerbread people, and the Nursery smelt of ginger and spices. They were left to cool overnight, decorated the next day and then disappeared! There was a series of clues to follow and our great detectives did it again – and found them in the role play kitchen oven!
