Science Club this week involved us creating our very own parachutes! Attached to the parachutes was some very precious cargo indeed – real eggs! The aim was to create a parachute that slowed the egg down enough so that when it hit the ground it didn’t smash! I’m pleased to report that we had lots of eggs that did indeed survive the fall – PHEW! As you can probably see from the pictures though … inevitably some didn’t quite make it – Oops!
Eggs made another appearance later in the week, albeit in the chocolate form, as we ended the term with an Easter egg hunt! Lots of eggs were retrieved after the Easter bunny had snuck outside during snack time!
