Settling into the new term

It’s been a busy first couple of weeks of term, with our new families and children settling into life at King’s House!

Our youngest children, the new Caterpillar Class, have been exploring the lovely new Nursery playgrounds, and started to learn their favourite nursery rhyme ‘The Wheels on the Bus’. They have been painting an enormous bus to for the wall, and we can’t wait to see the displays come to life this term.

We have welcomed our Reception class to the Junior Department, and they’ve been making use of the outdoor classrooms in the heatwave, including the wonderful new water equipment thanks to the Friends of KHS.

Over in the Seniors, Year 4 and 8 have started their buddying sessions, Year 8 went on the first trip of the year to Amersham to learn some geography fieldwork skills, and fixtures have started on the new 3G pitch at our Sports Ground.
