King's House School
Welcome to King's House, a private school and nursery in Richmond for children aged 3 to 13.Joining Year 3 and above
At King’s House we are proud to offer a high-quality, broad and balanced education to our pupils. Children thrive in a happy and relaxed environment, and pastoral care is at the heart of our ethos. Specialist teaching, small class sizes, wide ranging extra-curricular activities and high-quality teaching all enable pupils to become happy young people, ready for their next journey at senior school.
Pupils go onto a wide range of leavers’ destinations at 11 or 13, including co-ed, single sex, day and boarding schools. We work closely with families to ensure pupils go on to the right school for them.
Application Process
A small cohort of pupils joins Year 3, when we move from 2 to 3 forms in the year group. Occasional places are also available in other year groups, including Year 4 and 7.
Pupils wishing to join King’s House at this stage are assessed in English and Maths in November or January, and then interviewed prior to entry.
