School Trips
Last week, Reception had a fantastic time on their trip to Bockett’s Farm. They met lots of animals, loved feeding the lambs and stroking horses in the stable yard.
Year 1 also visited Kew’s Wakehurst Place. The boys enjoyed working in small groups creating their own live pictures using corn, leaves, flowers and sticks. They loved identifying plants in the vegetable gardens, and guessing what food was made from! They collected different things for their story sticks, and – as usual – lunch and playtime in the beautiful gardens was a highlight!
On the same day, Year 6 went to Bletchley Park as part of the start of their WWII topic. They learnt about the importance of Bletchley and code breaking during the war. The boys took part in a workshop on interception and breaking codes, testing out their skills!
