Planting the Seed of Entrepreneurialism

This week the Entrepreneur Club boys enjoyed meeting Peter Hulatt, the Managing Director of the multiple award-winning organisation, The Camden Garden Centre.

Mr Hulatt was delighted to welcome the boys to The Plant Room in Richmond, where he spoke of the wonderful work this social enterprise does in supporting our local community. In preparation for setting up their own small businesses for the forthcoming ‘Fiver Challenge,’ the boys have been learning about social enterprises and enjoyed hearing about Mr Hulatt’s journey and the talented people the business has supported over the years.

Eager to put their business etiquette to the test and brimming with entrepreneurial spirit, the boys had the chance to interview Mr Hulatt who was only too happy to answer questions such as, ‘What is your best-selling plant? Aside from The Plant Room, do you have another favourite social enterprise? Why did you decide to become a social entrepreneur? How did you fund your business start-up?’

Following our visit, the seed has well and truly been planted and the boys are very excited for the next steps in their own entrepreneurial journey! Huge thanks to Mr Hulatt and his team for such a fabulous opportunity.
