Butterfly Class have continued their topic about ‘People who Help Us’ and this week we were learning all about the post workers who ensure our letters and parcels are delivered whatever the weather. They tested this by writing a letter to their parents and then going on an outing to post them in the letter box, which was outside the Senior Department. I am delighted to say that lots of letters have been delivered!

It is not only the caterpillars who have been planting this week, the Butterflies planted some herbs that we can then use in our mud kitchen. The top two favourites were the lemon thyme and chocolate mint, which smelt delicious!

There was some wonderful maths work going on in the classroom this week as well, as the children challenged themselves with the addition and subtraction games. Well done Butterflies!
