This week pupils in the Junior and Senior Departments at King’s House School in Richmond celebrated a WW2 themed History Day.
In the JD, boys enjoyed a workshop on evacuees, and they had to decide what they would take in their suitcase with them. Pupils in the SD also had a workshop from University of Oxford lecturer and KHS alumni Dr Ben Morgan on propaganda during the war. Everyone also loved their WW2 themed lunch!
Years 7 and 8 were also very lucky to hear a moving talk by Hephzibah Rudofsky, the daughter of Holocaust survivor Lady Zahava Kohn. She spoke about her family’s inspirational story and the importance of education on the Holocaust.
