Parent’s Charity Cricket Matches – Sunday 13th and 27th June 2021
Now in its tenth year, the Parents’ Charity Cricket ‘triangular’ tournament between the brave parents of King’s House, Old Vicarage and Tower House schools, in aid of Rwanda Aid, is upon us.
Following last year’s Covid wash outs, we are all keen to make up for lost time. As for many of us, it is likely to be a last hurrah on the playing fields of King’s House; it would be great to “play 2, win 2” for the first time in the history of this tournament. That said, we would be equally happy having two good contested games, with cricket being the real winner. Spectators more than welcome.
The first match is on Sunday 13th June vs OVS, followed by Sunday 27th June vs Tower House at the King’s House grounds in Chiswick. If you would like to play, please RSVP to paul.carter@kennedyslaw.com with your availability and a potted history of playing career and preferred role. We are especially interested in anyone who professes to have any experience as wicket keeper. Umpires also welcomed with open arms.
