In the Autumn Term pupils in the Senior Department worked on some exciting projects in Design Technology!
Year 4 have been making marble mazes, and they really enjoyed learning to use the saws and glue guns to build them. They loved testing each other’s out once they were finished!
Pupils in Year 5 have made desk tidies, learning how to use different machines, including bench drills and scroll saws.
Year 6 have made phone stands, testing out different 3D structures and learning to use the strip heater. Year 7 have made some excellent pinball machines, investigating mechanisms. This was really rewarding when the machines worked and the boys tested how long they could keep the marble moving.
Year 8 are also finishing off their speakers this term.
