This week, the Butterflies have been learning all about Firefighters and the role play area has been extremely busy with a wonderful team of firefighters keeping us all safe. We seem to have had a lot of fires in the Nursery this week!
The theme continued into the maths lessons, with the children having to solve a problem. Our fire engine pictures had ‘accidently’ gone through the shredder. Could they put them back together again by ordering the pieces by number?
In science, they were exploring how to create a vacuum and were delighted when, after a lot of experimenting, they achieved their goal!
